In 1986 enters the company Luca Galigani, the fourth generation of entrepreneurs, in conjunction with the move to the plant of Chiesina Uzzanese, at a time when hat makers were beginning to lose their specialization in favor of a more hybrid offer to meet the needs of a market in which headgear was in decline.
Galigani had the intuition to propose to fashion houses an accessory that was not just a stylistic gesture typical of the then masters of ceremony, but a product that had a following beyond the catwalk as dictated by the first collections pret a porter of the 80 years.
From that moment the hat was no longer just a handicraft product but became a must-have, a fashion accessory that people of Gianni Versace’s stature were the first to introduce in their collections.
